Security and Safety at the US Consulate Sao Paulo Parking: US Consulate Sao Paulo does not provide parking for visitors seeking Consular Services, and visitors are encouraged to come by public transportation. Should visitors need to arrive by personal vehicles, they will be limited to private and non-consulate sanctioned parking areas. These parking areas vary in price from R$ 5 to R$ 10 for the first hour, and about R$ 2 per each additional hour. These lots are clearly marked by signs and visible attendants. US Consulate visitors arriving in personal vehicles are encouraged to use these lots ONLY, and NOT to park on streets around the US Consulate. Photos: Required photos for consular services must meet these criteria. Consular visitors should bring these photos with them, however, suitable photos can be purchased inside the consular grounds.
